Once again takes place in the Town where Ireland's greatest Rock 'n Blues Guitarist - Rory Gallagher was born in Ballyshannon, Co.Donegal, Ireland.

Located in the North West of Ireland - Ballyshannon again stages this Festival for the Third occasion following the success of 2004 where thousands of Rory
Gallagher's fans from all over the World attended. The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2005 will
again feature

Rory Gallagher's Band -

"THE BAND OF FRIEND'S"

- with original members Gerry McAvoy on Bass, Mark Feltham on Vocals / Harmonica, Brendan O'Neill on Drums, Gwyn Ashton on Lead Guitar / Vocals and Denis Greaves on Guitar/Vocals.

Also headlining this years Festival will be

"PAT McMANUS (ex. Mama's Boys)
and the Painkillers".

Pat McManus - one of the finest Guitarists of his generation in Ireland.


Performing in Ballyshannon also is the highly acclaimed "BARRY McCABE" and his band - playing a blend of Celtic Rock which has been highly influenced by Rory.

A Band that always takes Ballyshannon by storm are "SINNERBOY"
and they are back among the Headline acts for the 2005 Festival. Making a first appearance at
the 2005 Tribute Festival is a man who needs no introduction to Irish Music, that Being

SEAMIE O'DOWD & HIS BAND

who will play a 100% Tribute to his idol - the late
Rory Gallagher.
O'Dowd plays Guitar on a full time basis with well known Traditional Irish Music Group - DERVISH.

Leading Tribute Band's "RAW GALLAGHER" led by Steve White, "THE LOOP" from Germany,
"LAUNDROMAT" from Holland, the electrifying JOHNNY GALLAGHER from Donegal,
RORY ATHA CLIATH from Ireland, SECTION 3 from Donegal and THE SUPERFREAKS (Ireland)

This International Tribute to Rory Gallagher is endless as the line up of Performing acts also includes the name Gallagher as it is very prominent in Ballyshannon
as Bundoran Guitarist - JOHNNY GALLAGHER is an amazing resemblence of Rory Gallagher as you will witness alongside other local Acts - such as
"Crave".

Over the four days of non-stop Music with these acts performing at Open Air Concerts,
in Guitar Workshops, Lectures & Films and Nightly Concerts.
